02/21/2019 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />901 EAST 7TH AVE - KVEC <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />THURSDAY 8:30 A.M. FEBRUARY 21, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Chris Horner, <br />Deputy Prosecutor; Gene Dana, Sheriff; Clay Myers, Undersheriff. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 8:33 a.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting and announced <br />the Board would recess into Executive Session for 10 minutes to <br />discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating <br />to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel <br />representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which <br />the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official <br />capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge <br />regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or <br />financial consequence to the agency. Possible action anticipated. <br /> <br />At 8:43 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. <br /> <br />CLAIM ROLANDO MARMOLEJO SHERIFF <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approved payment not to exceed <br />$1,000.00 for a Claim for Damages filed by Rolando Marmolejo with <br />the Kittitas County Auditor’s Office on February 12, 2019, as <br />recommended by the County Sheriff & Prosecutors office, conditioned <br />upon a Release of all Claims from Mr. Marmolejo. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz seconded.
