Law & Justice Study Session Minutes <br />February 6, 2019 <br />Commissioners Auditorium <br />Meeting called to order at 0815 a.m. <br />Present: Commissioner Laura Osiadacz, Undersheriff Myers and HR Director Lisa Young. <br />Control Room Operator discussion — Undersheriff Myers indicated that the Control Room Operators are <br />civilian positions hired out of the tax revenue, not general fund. The 12 hour shifts are all on overtime, but <br />the Control Room Operators. <br />I spoke with Judy regarding the funding and she said the 1/1 Otis jail pod has the funds for this. Commissioner <br />Osiadacz mentioned that if funded out of 1/10, then I don't see and issue. Lisa mentioned that she will add <br />this to her HR study session next week. <br />Other business — Commissioner Osiadacz asked how the Emergency Management Training process is <br />coming along with Commander Higashiyama.
