JANUARY 7, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Stephanie Hartung, <br />DPA III. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXEC SESSION TRAINING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 3:00 p.m. Chairman Wright opened a Special Meeting to receive a Board <br />training on Executive Sessions and the specific and limited exceptions <br />to the Open Public Meetings Act. <br /> <br />Stephanie Hartung, Deputy Prosecutor III presented the Board with a <br />checklist from MRSC on OPMA-Executive Sessions as well as a listing of <br />the RCW’s. She reviewed a power point presentation and answered <br />questions the Board had relating to prior scenarios. <br /> <br />The Board thanked Ms. Hartung for the training and indicated that they <br />were looking forward to the memo she offered to draft addressing the <br />questions they had. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS – <br /> <br />Chairman Wright questioned the Board on their thoughts about bringing on <br />a short-term business consultant to oversee the Airport and to assist <br />with the transition of bringing on the Airport Manager. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 3:40 p.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman
