He said there is more work to be done prior
to it coming before the Board of County Commissioners, and noted
they need to affirm remanding it back to Staff. It was recommended
to cancel the Public Hearing that had been scheduled for Monday
December 10,2018 at 6:00 p.m.

Elizabeth Torrey, Department of Fish & Wildlife said what was being
proposed within the Critical Areas Ordinance was better than what
was currently in place and felt the Public Hearing should move
forward. She said they can offer technical assistance if needed.

Chairman Osiadacz said by remanding it back to Staff was not to stop
the process, but just to allow for a more thorough review. Mr.
Carlson noted the document needed to be completed by June 30, 2019.

Commissioner O’Brien moved to cancel the Public Hearing scheduled
for December 10, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. for the Critical Areas Ordinance
and to remand it back to Staff for further review.
