11/19/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. NOVEMBER 19, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, HR <br />Director/Interim KVEC Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />Lisa Young, HR Director/Interim KVEC Director provided the Board a <br />brief update on benefits leading up to this afternoons budget <br />meeting where the Board will make a decision. She stated that they <br />will have Alliant presenting and there are positive updates. She <br />stated that the County can stay with Assuris and it’s an 8% credit <br />towards our current rates, or they can consider going to United <br />Healthcare and that rate is coming in at 12-15% less than what the <br />County’s current rates are. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION LARGE COKE STAGE KVEC <br /> <br />Ms. Young stated that she can prepare the paper work to transfer the <br />Large Coke stage to the Upper County. They are currently planning to <br />obtain it for an event and then it could just remain up there. The <br />Board stated they were in support of that and Commissioner O’Brien <br />asked if someone would work on allowing or relaying the message of <br />the request received from former KVEC Director Mickey Webb as he <br />asked to use it for an upcoming event as well.
