11/16/2018 MINUTES 1 COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM SPECIAL MEETING FRIDAY 3:00 P.M. NOVEMBER 16, 2018 Board members present: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien & Commissioner Cory Wright. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz. Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Neil Caulkins, Deputy Prosecutor; and Patti Johnson, Solid Waste Director/Project Manager. SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS At 3:02 p.m. Vice-Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting and announced the Board would recess into Executive Session for 15 minutes to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. There was no action anticipated. At 3:17 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No action taken. At 3:18 p.m. Vice-Chairman O’Brien announced the Board would recess back into Executive Session for 5 minutes discuss with legal counsel representing the agency matters relating to agency enforcement actions, or to discuss with legal counsel representing the agency litigation or potential litigation to which the agency, the governing body, or a member acting in an official capacity is, or is likely to become, a party, when public knowledge regarding the discussion is likely to result in an adverse legal or financial consequence to the agency. There was no action anticipated. At 3:23 p.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. Direction was given to Staff to monitor the property over the weekend. The meeting was adjourned at 3:23 p.m.
