2018‐10‐22 Minutes  1  Information Technology  <br />Commissioners’ Minutes  <br />Kittitas County, Washington  <br />Commissioners’ Conference Room  <br />Regular Meeting  <br />  <br />Monday  11:00 AM  October 22, 2018  <br />  <br />Board members present: Vice‐Chair Obie O'Brien and Commissioner Cory Wright  <br />  <br />Board members absent: Chair Laura Osiadacz  <br />  <br />Others: IT Director Jim Goeben  <br />  <br />Regular Meeting    Information Technology  <br />Meeting called to order at 11:00 AM.  <br />  <br />Dude Solutions and Laserfiche Update  <br />Mr. Goeben updated the board on the status of the software integration; the vendor and the  <br />applications team continue to progress and plan to move to production in the next few weeks.  <br />   <br />VoIP Project Update  <br />There was discussion of the new phone system project which is scheduled to launch December 3.  <br />  <br />Software Inventory  <br />Mr. Goeben told the board he spoke with the management team at their October meeting about the  <br />county inventory of off‐the‐shelf software being managed by IT. Members of the management team  <br />voiced no concerns.  <br />  <br />Considering Apple Computers  <br />There was discussion about the cost and issues related to supporting Apple computers on the county  <br />network. The board agreed not to provide the option due to the additional expense and related security  <br />issues.  <br />  <br />Meeting adjourned at 11:25 AM.  <br />  Kittitas County Commissioners  <br />Information Technology Director  Kittitas County, Washington  <br />  <br />  <br /> _______________________________________    _______________________________________    <br />Jim Goeben, IT Director Laura Osiadacz, Chair
