AUGUST 22, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman, Laura Osiadacz (by-phone); Vice- <br />Chairman Obie O’Brien and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Lisa Young, <br />HR Director/Interim Event Center Director; Dan Carlson, CDS <br />Director. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING CDS STAFFING DISCUSSION CDS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting to discuss & <br />potentially make a decision regarding CDS Staffing. <br /> <br />Dan Carlson, CDS Director explained that Stephanie Mifflin, Senior <br />Permit Tech has accepted the position of Building Inspector <br />effective 9/4/18. He gave background on her position of Senior <br />Permit Tech and explained that it was 3 positions combined. He <br />stated that now she is leaving the position, he would like to pursue <br />a re-org and move their Office Assistant into a Permit Tech; <br />reclassify their Office Assistant position to Admin Assistant I and <br />post to fill the Admin Assistant I; (previously Office Assistant). <br />He stated that there will be a budget savings of approximately <br />$550.00. <br /> <br />The Board approved the request as presented. <br /> <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 9:10 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />
