2018-06-13 MINUTES <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 9:00 A.M. JUNE 13, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner <br />Paul Jewell. Excused - Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board & Brett <br />Wachsmith, County Treasurer. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING BUDGET RETREAT PLANNING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting to discuss and plan <br />with County Staff the 2019 Annual Budget Retreat Agenda and <br />letter for the Management Team with Budget Instructions. <br /> <br />The Board discussed presenting options and determined they would <br />see if the YBIP work group would come make a presentation and <br />determined they would go back to zero based budgeting for 2019. <br />They discussed the budget & County government priorities for <br />2019. <br /> <br />The Board also determined they would be bringing back the BBQ to <br />the Budget Retreat and directed Staff to get a head count for <br />burgers and to get the sign up lists out for the Management Team <br />to bring items to compliment the BBQ. Staff was directed to <br />reach out to the local Mayors and ask them to attend the meeting <br />and speak about their local projects etc. Chairman Osiadacz was <br />directed to prepare the letter for the Board to consider and <br />send out. <br /> <br />ACKNOWLEDGE FUNCTIONAL ZERO KC FAMILIES COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve Chairman Osiadacz being <br />listed as a contact on the Functional Zero Kittitas County for <br />Families with Children Memorandum (HopeSource). Chairman <br />Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
