<br /> <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS’ MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 9:00 AM OCTOBER 24, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Commissioner Chairman Paul Jewell, <br />Commissioner Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Jill Schaffer, Event Center Director; Karey Conner Event <br />Center Office Manager; Fair Board Directors; Clayton Myers, <br />Heather Harrell, Roylene Crawford, Jerry Jarnagin, Jesse <br />Blackwell; Patti Johnson Solid Waste Director and Facilities <br />Maintenance Project Manager; Robin Read, Public Health <br />Administrator; Dr. Mark Larson, Health Officer; Kaitlyn <br />Reddick, Fiscal Analysis for Public Health; Liz Whitaker, <br />Community Health Service Supervisor; Holly Myers, Environmental <br />Health Supervisor; Kasey Knudsen, Health Promotion Supervisor; <br />Candi Blackford, Public Health Administrator Assistant; Mark <br />Cook, Public Works Director, Luke Huck, County Engineer and Judy <br />Pless, Budget and Finance Manager. <br />SPECIAL MEETING 2018 PRELIMINARY BUDGET COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell called the special meeting at 9:00 am to <br />meet with Departments presenting their 2018 Preliminary Budgets. <br /> <br />The following departments presented their 2018 Preliminary <br />Budgets to the Board; <br /> <br />Jill Schaffer, Event Center Budget <br /> <br />At 11:30 am the Board took a break and reconvened at 1:30 pm <br /> <br />Robin Read, Public Health <br />Mark Cook, Public Works <br /> <br />The Budget scheduled for Community Development Services was <br />postponed until a future date. <br /> <br />The Board discussed each budget with the departments and <br />provided direction on any changes, if appropriate. <br /> <br />
