06/05/2018 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING <br /> TUESDAY 2:00 P.M. JUNE 5, 2018 <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz; Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien and Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning <br />Official; Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; and 2 <br />members of the public. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING PEDA IRRIGATION FRANCHISE PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />At 2:00 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />an Application for an Irrigation Franchise with Timothy Peda along <br />East Third (3rd) Avenue, Ellensburg, WA. <br /> MARK COOK, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR/INTERIM ENGINEER announced they <br />received notice from the applicant, Mr. Peda who said he would like <br />to withdrawal his request for an Irrigation Franchise. There being <br />no action to be considered by the Board, the Public Hearing was <br />closed. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING SUNCADIA PHASE 1 DIVISION 15 CDS <br /> <br />At 2:01 p.m. CHAIRMAN OSIADACZ opened a Public Hearing to consider <br />the Suncadia Phase 1, Division 15 Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00001). <br /> LINDSEY OZBOLT, PLANNING OFFICIAL reviewed a request from Steven <br />Lathrop, Authorized Agent for New Suncadia, LLC, for a Preliminary <br />Plat application for a 10 lot Preliminary Plat with an access tract <br />for a future development tract on approximately 7.17 acres of land <br />that is zoned Master Planned Resort. The proposed lots range in <br />size from 0.39 acres to 0.49 acres. She provided information on the <br />administrative review, Comprehensive Plan, Environmental Review, <br />Agency and Public Comments, Project Analysis and their <br />recommendation of approval. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> COMMISSIONER O’BRIEN moved to approve the Suncadia Phase I, Division <br />15 Preliminary Plat (LP-18-00001), adopting the proposed Findings of <br />Fact, Conclusions of Law, and Conditions of Approval, and to direct <br />Staff to prepare enabling documents. COMMISSIONER JEWELL seconded. <br />Motion carried 3-0. <br />
