05/31/2018 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />THURSDAY 10:00 A.M. MAY 31, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie <br />O’Brien. Excused: Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING EXECUTIVE SESSION COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 10:04 a.m. Chairman Osiadacz opened a Special Meeting and <br />announced the Board would recess into an Executive Session for 20 <br />minutes to evaluate the qualifications of a candidate for <br />appointment to elective office. However, any interview of such <br />candidate and final action appointing a candidate to elective office <br />shall be in a meeting open to the public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:24 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session. No <br />action taken. <br /> <br />At 10:24 a.m. the Chairman Osiadacz announced the Board would recess <br />back into Executive Session for 5 minutes to evaluate the <br />qualifications of a candidate for appointment to elective office. <br />However, any interview of such candidate and final action appointing <br />a candidate to elective office shall be in a meeting open to the <br />public. No action was anticipated. <br /> <br />At 10:29 a.m. the Board reconvened out of Executive Session.
