FEBRUARY 26, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Obie O’Brien and Commissioner Paul <br />Jewell. Excused: Chairman Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer <br />and Rachael Lowatchie, Fiscal Tech. II. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING UNCOLLECTIBLE TAXES TREASURER <br /> <br />Vice-Chairman O’Brien opened a Special Meeting to consider Resolutions <br />relating to uncollectible taxes. <br /> <br />Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer and Rachael Lowatchie, Fiscal Tech. II <br />provided information on draft Resolutions for the Board’s consideration. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-032 UNCOLLECTIBLE MOBILE HOME TAXES TREASURER <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-032, a <br />Resolution to Cancel Taxes Assessed Upon Mobile Home Taxes Pursuant to <br />RCW 84.56.240. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2018-033 UNCOLLECTIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES TREASURER <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve Resolution No. 2018-033, a <br />Resolution to Cancel Taxes Assessed Upon Personal Property Pursuant to <br />RCW 84.56.240. Vice-Chairman O’Brien seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br />Mr. Wachsmith noted he was going to pull the last item on the Agenda <br />relating to the Treasurer’s Report to Support the List of Refunds Made <br />to Taxpayers During the Year 2017 and would bring it forward at a later <br />date for the Board’s consideration. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 10:50 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br />Julie Kjorsvik Obie O’Brien, Vice-Chairman
