2/05/2018 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. FEBRUARY 5, 2018 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Laura Osiadacz & Vice-Chairman Obie <br />O’Brien & Commissioner Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Julie <br />Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board & Jill Scheffer, KVEC Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD KVEC <br /> <br />Jill Scheffer, Event Center Director stated that there had been a <br />report done from 2006 on the rodeo arena floor boards. She stated <br />that there are a lot of rotten boards that need to be replaced and <br />she is guessing it would take approximately $40,000.00 to replace <br />the rotten boards for materials only, not labor. She stated that the <br />fiberglass seating is also in bad shape and breaking apart. She <br />stated that the polyurethane application and materials would cost <br />approximately $80,000.00. Ms. Scheffer asked the Board for direction <br />on how to proceed for both projects. <br /> <br />The Board directed Ms. Scheffer to see about the cost of having <br />aluminum replace the fiberglass seating and report back. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Ms. Scheffer presented the Board with an aerial view of the Event <br />Center that highlighted possible additional RV Parking options for <br />them to think about. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Laura Osiadacz, Chairman <br />
