2017-11-29 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 3:00 P.M. NOVEMBER 29, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; and Commissioner <br />Obie O’Brien. Recused: Vice-Chairman Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Dan Carlson, CDS <br />Director; Lindsey Ozbolt, Planning Official; Dusty Pilkington, <br />Staff Planner; Mark Cook, Public Works Director; and <br />approximately 20 members of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING MARIAN MEADOWS CDS <br /> <br />At 3:00 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Closed Record Meeting <br />continued from November 21, 2017 to consider the Marian Meadows <br />Planned Unit Development (PD-17-00001), Conditional Use Permit <br />(CU-17-00001) and Plat (LP-17-00001). <br /> <br />Chairman Jewell announced a letter had been received from the <br />Easton School District Superintendent which was not read by the <br />Board nor would be included as a part of the record since it was <br />a Closed Record Meeting. Commissioner O’Brien said he had not <br />read the email either. <br /> <br />Dan Carlson, CDS Director, responded to the questions the Board <br />had at the previous meeting relating to allowable density; the <br />Easton Water District; mitigation and impacts to the School <br />District; Sparks Road and winter conditions. He noted Deputy <br />Prosecutor Caulkins could not be in attendance at today’s <br />hearing to answer questions. Mark Cook, Public Works Director, <br />answered questions from the Board and provided clarification on <br />various issues relating to roads, traffic and the Easton <br />Airport. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to continue the Closed Record Meeting <br />to Wednesday December 6, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Commissioners <br />Auditorium to allow for additional review and to information <br />from Staff. Chairman Jewell seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
