07/24/2017 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 10:10 A.M. JULY 24, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell & Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused: Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Brett <br />Wachsmith, Treasurer. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD TREASURER <br /> <br />Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer requested permission to purchase <br />investment management software. He stated that his goal is to go- <br />live by 1/1/2018 and this software is required as a pooling county. <br />He stated that it’s a one-time cost of approximately $58,000.00 and <br />then there is an annual fee which will be a wash by eliminating the <br />expense of CashTax since they will be getting rid of it with SymPro <br />(new investment software). <br /> <br />There was discussion on charging the pooling funds retroactively. <br />Commissioner Jewell encouraged that be done if it’s not already <br />being considered/planned on.
