2017-05-31 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONER’S CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />WEDNESDAY 1:30 P.M. MAY 31, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Laura <br />Osiadacz and Commissioner Obie O’Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz Deputy Clerk of the Board; Dan Carlson, CDS <br />Director and one member of the public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING ILA – UGA - CITY COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 1:30 p.m. Chairman Jewell opened a Special Meeting to discuss <br />resuming engagement with the City regarding the ILA-UGA. <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien presented the Board with a DRAFT version of the <br />ILA - UGA between the City and the County for discussion. <br /> <br />There was discussion over Section 6 – 6.1, 6.2, & 6.3 as well as <br />Item 7, Section 10 (remove entirely), Item 9, Section 11.5 and 11.6. <br />The Board discussed Road & Utility Corridors and indicated that they <br />would like to get a proposal to the City of Ellensburg by August 1, <br />2017. The Board indicated that at the follow up meeting Public Works <br />Director Mark Cook and Deputy Prosecutor Neil Caulkins should be in <br />attendance. <br /> <br />OTHER BUSINESS <br /> <br />Commissioner Osiadacz requested and was granted permission to <br />publish a FaceBook post regarding the Hotel Motel Tax Grant <br />Application Announcement. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 2:20 p.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />
