APRIL 20, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Vice-Chairman Laura Osiadacz. Via phone: <br />Commissioner Obie O’Brien. Excused: Chairman Paul Jewell. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board and Patti Johnson, Solid <br />Waste/Maintenance Director. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />At 3:40 p.m. Vice-Chairman Osiadacz opened an Emergency Special <br />Meeting. She read a proposed Resolution into the record Declaring <br />an Emergency for the Auditor’s Office Asbestos Removal. The <br />Resolution had been prepared by the Prosecutor’s office and brought <br />forward by Patti Johnson, Solid Waste/Maintenance Director. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2017-075 AUDITOR’S OFFICE ASBESTOS MAINTENANCE <br /> <br />Commissioner O’Brien moved to approve Resolution No. 2017-075, <br />Declaration of Emergency – Auditor’s Office Asbestos Removal, and to <br />authorize the Board of County Commissioners and Maintenance <br />Department to enter into contracts, specifically the Personal <br />Services Agreement with TriValley Construction to properly remove <br />and dispose of the asbestos.
