COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING – IT STUDY SESSION <br />Monday 11:00 am February 27, 2017 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chair Paul Jewell, Vice-Chair Laura Osiadacz <br />Board members absent: Commissioner Obie O'Brien <br />Others: Jim Goeben, IT Director <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Meeting Commissioners <br /> <br />Call to Order: 11:00 AM <br /> <br />2017 Project Prioritization <br />There was a general discussion about technology project prioritization for 2017. No direction was <br />provided by the board. <br /> <br />Other business <br />Mr. Goeben updated the board: <br />• Presidents Weekend Outage in Cle Elum <br />During routine maintenance the Cle Elum courthouse lost connection to the Ellensburg <br />courthouse. After thorough troubleshooting, a cycling of the network equipment was required <br />in order to re-establish connection. This caused a temporary outage across the network. <br />• SMARTGOV Implementation Update <br />The implementation of the permit tracking software is proceeding with configuration and <br />training. The Prosecutor’s office is currently reviewing the contract for the remaining work. A <br />public meeting will be scheduled for the board to sign the contract. <br />• Linking from meeting agendas to recorded videos <br />The county paperless agenda system (PAS) has been updated to include adding links to the <br />meeting videos. The clerks have been provided instructions. <br />• Staff photos in Outlook <br />Mr. Goeben received board approval to add security photos to Active Director for display in <br />Outlook.
