COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />BOCC CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />MONDAY 3:00 PM NOVEMBER 10, 2014 <br />Board members present: Chairman Paul Jewell; Vice-Chairman Gary <br />Berndt and Commissioner Obie O'Brien. <br /> <br />Others: Todd Davis, Director of Noxious Weed; Patti Johnson, <br />Director of Solid Waste and Judy Pless, Budget and Finance <br />Manager. <br />SPECIAL MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br />Noxious Weed <br /> <br />Todd Davis presented his 2015 preliminary budget. The board <br />asked questions about the herbicides used for weed control. <br /> <br />Solid waste <br /> <br />Patti Johnson presented her 2015 preliminary budget. Her <br />budget includes a new 3/4 time position. Johnson stated the <br />garbage collection is down because more people are recycling. <br />Construction Demolition fees are up as there has been an <br />increase in construction. <br /> <br />Other budget discussion <br /> <br />The board discussion the property taxes that are included in the <br />2015 preliminary budget for the General Fund, County Road, Flood <br />Control and Veterans Assistance. <br /> <br />The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 pm. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />Judy Pless Paul Jewell, Chairman <br />
