12/19/2016 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. DECEMBER 19, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Jim Goeben, IT <br />Director; Lisa Young, HR Director; Sarah Maes, Program Assistant and <br />Mickey Webb, Event Center Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD KVEC <br /> <br />Mickey Webb, Event Center Director requested the BoCC to reconsider <br />their decision to delay the EventPro Software project. He explained <br />that this is their slow season so the timing is good for them to <br />bring in the new software and allow Staff time to learn it. He <br />stated that if the BoCC waits untill a new Director is hired they <br />will end up not being able to implement the new software until 2018, <br />due to the seasonal busy times and depending on how long it takes to <br />fill the Director position. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell explained that he was not present during the <br />discussion but felt he understood how the other Board members came <br />to the decision to delay until a new Director is hired. He explained <br />why they wanted to wait until a new Director was hired before <br />committing to the new program.
