12/19/2016 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 10:00 A.M. DECEMBER 19, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell; Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Marsha Weyand, <br />Assessor & Lisa Young, HR Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD ASSESSOR <br /> <br />Marsha Weyand, Assessor requested the BoCC’s permission to use <br />leftover funds in her budget for professional services to bring in <br />Brent Parsons former County Appraiser to review & clean up backlog. <br />She stated that right now, Staff can’t work on their “normal” work <br />because they are all reviewing each other’s backlog items. If <br />approved Mr. Parsons could work remotely per hour and assist in <br />getting a lot of work caught up in a lot less time, plus it would <br />allow her Staff to work on present tasks. She stated there are funds <br />in her 2016 budget that could carry over to 2017.
