OCTOBER 18, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell <br />and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Neil Caulkins, Deputy <br />Prosecutor; Doc Hansen, Planning Official; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director; Dan Carlson, CDS Director; Dusty Pilkington, Staff Planner; <br />and 4 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES – NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATIONS <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION WESTERN WATERSHED ENHANCEMENT PARTNERSHIP COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to ratify his signature on a Proclamation for <br />the Western Watershed Enhancement Partnership, dated October 13, 2016. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION FLOOD AWARENESS MONTH PUBLIC WORKS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a Proclamation declaring November <br />2016 as Flood Awareness Month in Kittitas County, and encouraging <br />residents living, working, or traveling through flood-prone areas to <br />develop a flood preparedness plan for themselves and their families. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded.
