06/14/2016 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 3:00 P.M. JUNE 14, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell; and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Angela San Filippo, <br />Staff Planner; and Doc Hansen, Planning Official/Interim Planning <br />Director. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING COUNTYWIDE PLANNING POLICIES CDS <br /> <br />At 3:03 p.m. CHAIRMAN O’BRIEN opened a Public Hearing continued from <br />June 7, 2016 to consider Amendments to the Countywide Planning <br />Policies as adopted and recommended by the Kittitas County <br />Conference of Governments. He noted the record was closed. <br /> <br />ANGELA SAN FILIPPO, STAFF PLANNER, explained how she had taken the <br />Commissioners proposed changes back to the Council of Governments. <br />She reviewed their comments and changes to the documents since the <br />Public Hearing. The Board asked Staff questions, provided comments, <br />and suggestions for changing the document. <br /> <br />MS. SAN FILIPPO said she would take the suggested changes back to <br />the Council of Governments for further information at the June 22nd <br />meeting. <br /> <br />COMMISSIONER JEWELL moved to continue the Public Hearing to Tuesday <br />July 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. on the Commissioners Agenda, under Board <br />Discussion & Decision, to be held in the Commissioners Auditorium, <br />Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse 205 West 5th Avenue Ellensburg, <br />WA. COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ seconded.
