APRIL 19, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien; Vice-Chairman Paul Jewell <br />and Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board; Mark Cook, Public Works <br />Director; Christopher Horner, Deputy Prosecutor; Neil Caulkins, Deputy <br />Prosecutor and approximately 6 members of the public. <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien called the meeting to order. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF NEW COUNTY EMPLOYEES - NONE <br /> <br />PROCLAMATION MOTORCYCLE AWARENESS MONTH COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve a Proclamation Declaring May as <br />Motorcycle Awareness Month in Kittitas County, and urge all citizens to <br />be aware of and support the various motorcycle awareness events <br />throughout the State during the Month of May. Commissioner Osiadacz <br />seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />AWARDS & RECOGNITIONS – NONE <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Chairman O’Brien noted that Item A under Board Discussion & Decision had <br />been moved to the third item under Board Discussion & Decision, as <br />Commissioner Jewell indicated he was going to recuse himself from the <br />issue. <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to approve the Agenda, as amended. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
