04/11/2016 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. APRIL 11, 2016 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Obie O’Brien & Vice-Chairman Paul <br />Jewell. (Commissioner Dist. #2 Vacant) <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board; Brett Wachsmith, <br />Treasurer. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD TREASURER <br /> <br />Brett Wachsmith, Treasurer presented the Board with a Real Estate <br />Purchase and Sale Agreement between Paul Gamon and Kittitas County, <br />Map#18-18-35055-1817/Parcel# 383133. <br /> <br />He stated his only request was that the taxes get paid. He stated <br />that Deputy Prosecutor Chris Horner included that in the Agreement <br />before the Board today, and Mr. Gamon signed it prior. He explained <br />that once this is complete it will be finalized by a Resolution, <br />Quit Claim Deed and an Excise Tax Affidavit. <br /> <br />AGREEMENT PURCHASE & AGREEMENT TREASURER <br /> <br />Commissioner Jewell moved to authorize Chair’s signature on a Real <br />Estate Purchase & Sale Agreement between Paul Gamon and Kittitas <br />County. Chairman O’Brien seconded. The Board encouraged Mr. <br />Wachsmith to work with Deputy Prosecutor Horner to see if the <br />neighbors were interested in the property, and if so what the proper <br />steps are to legally transfer it.
