MAY 13, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chairman Brett <br />Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Julie <br />Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board & Judy Pless, Budget & Finance Manager. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING OFFICE STAFF MEETING COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wright opened the Office Administration <br />meeting. <br /> <br />CALENDAR WEEK AT A GLANCE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed their weekly calendar. <br /> <br />PAF/VOUCHERS REVIEW OF PAF’S & VOUCHERS COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners approved and signed County <br />Employee Personnel Action forms and vouchers. <br /> <br />CORRESPONDENCE LOG REVIEW OF CORRESPONDENCE LOG COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />The Board of County Commissioners reviewed the weekly Correspondence <br />Log, a listing of all incoming mail and correspondence for the week <br />ending May 10, 2019. <br /> <br />LETTER LETTER-WSDOT COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Commissioner Wachsmith moved to approve & authorize Board signature <br />on a letter to WSDOT (John Chi,P.E.) regarding I-90 – SR-18 <br />Interchange improvements and the impact to Kittitas County. <br />Commissioner Osiadacz seconded. Motion carried 3-0. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION BUDGET RETREAT LUNCH COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II questioned if the Board <br />was planning to offer a BBQ again for the Budget Retreat or wanted <br />to go another route. She stated that she and Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk <br />of the Board had been brain storming ideas. Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of <br />the Board stated Management Team voiced their desires to have the <br />Board present for the discussions and not out cooking. Staff was <br />directed to look into cost for different food options and report <br />back.
