06/17/2019 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:40 A.M. JUNE 17, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chair Brett <br />Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Katrina <br />Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator; Jose Preciado, Field & Custody <br />Counselor and one member of the public. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD JUVENILE <br /> <br />Katrina Mankus, Juvenile Court Administrator requested the Board <br />authorize her to purchase an additional vehicle for Juvenile <br />Probation. She stated that she has had Jose Preciado do the research <br />and brought him along to answer any questions about what they would <br />like to purchase. She explained that they have one car and 3 <br />employees out in the field which generally they end up using their <br />own vehicles for work. They would keep the Dodge Stratus (their <br />current vehicle) to use for back up. She explained that there is <br />funds available in the Juvenile Probation Vehicle Replacement <br />Reserve Fund and she verified it with the Auditor’s Office as well <br />as it’s supported by Superior Court Judge Scott Sparks. <br /> <br />Jose Preciado, Field & Custody Counselor stated they are looking at <br />a 2020 Ford Explorer and its $33,870.67. <br /> <br />The Board approved the request as presented. <br /> <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:50 a.m. <br /> <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Cory Wright, Chairman <br />
