07/15/2019 MINUTES 1 <br /> COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />REGULAR MEETING <br /> <br />MONDAY 9:50 A.M. JULY 15, 2019 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright; Vice-Chair Brett <br />Wachsmith & Commissioner Laura Osiadacz. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer; Lisa Young, HR <br />Director. <br /> <br />REGULAR MEETING DEPARTMENT HEAD HUMAN RESOURCES <br /> <br />Lisa Young, HR Director and Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim <br />County Engineer presented the Board with a PAF for them to consider <br />under the County Policy allowing for Special Compensation. <br /> <br />Director Cook stated that it was for the Department’s Traffic <br />Foreman who is performing bridge inspections in the interim of the <br />Engineer Services Manager. Policy allows a monthly stipend of equal <br />to 5% of the starting salary ($5,934) of the vacant position or <br />$297.00. He stated that the additional duties are being performed <br />from July through December. <br /> <br />Director Young stated that with some discussion it’s been determined <br />the other PAF aren’t ready to be considered at this time.
