11/25/2019 MINUTES 1 <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON COMMISSIONERS AUDITORIUM SPECIAL MEETING <br /> MONDAY 3:30 P.M. NOVEMBER 25, 2019 <br />Board members present: Chairman Cory Wright and Commissioner Laura <br />Osiadacz. Excused: Vice-Chairman Brett Wachsmith. <br /> <br />Others: Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim Engineer; Judy <br />Pless, Budget and Finance Manager; and Heather Siebert, Finance <br />Officer. <br /> PUBLIC HEARING PROPERTY TAX AUDITOR <br /> <br />At 3:30 p.m. CHAIRMAN WRIGHT opened the Public Hearing continued <br />from October 7th, 2019 to consider possible tax increases for Tax <br />Levy Rates and amount for the Taxes Levied in 2019 to be collected <br />in 2020 for the General Fund, County Road and the Flood Control <br />District. <br /> JUDY PLESS, BUDGET AND FINANCE MANAGER provided an overview of the <br />General Fund and the 1% levy rate increase. Ms. Pless provided an <br />overview for the County Road Fund and the proposed Levy rates. Ms. <br />Pless provided an overview for the Flood Control District Fund and <br />the proposed levy rates. The Flood Control Zone Advisory Committee <br />recommended raising the levy rates based on current projects. <br /> THERE BEING NO ONE REQUESTING TO TESTIFY, THE PUBLIC PORTION OF THE HEARING WAS CLOSED. <br /> RESOLUTION 2019-175 GENERAL TAX LEVY AUDITOR <br /> COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2019-175 for <br />Levying Taxes for the General Tax Levy for municipal purposes of <br />Kittitas County, Washington for the year 2020 according to the <br />assessed valuation as determined in the year 2019. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> RESOLUTION 2019-176 FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT LEVY AUDITOR <br /> COMMISSIONER OSIADACZ moved to approve Resolution No. 2019-176 for <br />Levying Taxes for the County Flood Control Zone District for <br />municipal purposes of Kittitas County, Washington for the year 2020 <br />according to the assessed valuation as determined in the year 2019. COMMISSIONER WRIGHT seconded. Motion carried 2-0. <br /> RESOLUTION 2019-177 COUNTY ROAD LEVY AUDITOR <br />
