03/03/2020 MINUTES 1 <br /> <br />COMMISSIONERS' MINUTES <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />COMMISSIONERS CONFERENCE ROOM <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />TUESDAY 9:00 A.M. MARCH 3, 2020 <br /> <br />Board members present: Chairman Brett Wachsmith, Vice-Chairman <br />Laura Osiadacz, and Commissioner Cory Wright. <br /> <br />Others: Mandy Buchholz, Deputy Clerk of the Board II; Mark Cook, <br />Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer and 4 members of the <br />public. <br /> <br />SPECIAL MEETING LICK CREEK UPDATE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br />At 9:00 a.m. Chairman Wachsmith opened a Special Meeting to receive <br />an update regarding Lick Creek. <br /> <br />Mark Cook, Public Works Director/Interim County Engineer presented a <br />handout received January 23, 2020 from Attorney Jeff Slothower <br />regarding his clients Eric and Shauna Barlow and their tax parcel <br />No. 660536. Director Cook gave history on the project and reviewed <br />concerns. He reviewed the risks and stated that the Bridge <br />Procurement is fast approaching. He discussed the possibility of the <br />Flood Control Zone Advisory Committee possibly reviewing the project <br />and getting some assistance that route. He discussed with the Board <br />why this project is so different and why SEPA rules are not an <br />option. <br /> <br />The Board asked Director Cook to see the area being discussed and <br />they would like Director Cook to bring in the Consultant to see if <br />they have any suggestions the Board could consider before making any <br />decision. <br /> <br />Meeting adjourned at 9:45 a.m. <br /> <br />KITTITAS COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />DEPUTY CLERK OF THE BOARD II KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Mandy Buchholz Brett Wachsmith, Chairman <br />
