BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION <br />NO.2020_ 0 <br />'aF <br />TO AWARD THE BID TO FURNISH LIQUID ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR 2O2O <br />WHEREAS: A Notice of Call for Bids was approved and signed on February 4, 2020, to <br />furnish Liquid Asphalt Materials for 2020; and <br />WHEREAS: Sealed bids were opened on February 20,2020, at2:00 p.m. in the Kittitas County <br />Public Works Office, and three (3) bids were received; and <br />WHEREAS: The Public Works Department recommends that the responsible bid of Western <br />States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and Albina Asphalt for Schedule "B" be <br />accepted; and <br />NOW' THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby award the bid for 2020 Liquid Asphalt Materials to <br />Western States Asphalt, Inc. for Schedule "A" and Albina Asphalt for Schedule "B", upon such <br />terms and conditions as specified in the Proposal submitted by said bidder(s). <br />BE IT FURTIIER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works is authorized to sign the <br />contract documents upon such terms and conditions specified in the Proposal submitted by said <br />bidder(s). <br />DATED this 3rd day of March2020, atEllensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COI.INTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS ASHINGTON <br />Brett <br />the Board- Julie Kjorsvik <br />Vice-Chairman <br />!
