KITTITAS VALLEY EVENT CENTER <br />Home of the Kittitas County Fair and Ellensburg Rodeo <br />901 E. 7th Ave, Suite 1, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />EventCenter@co.kittitas.wa.us <br />Office (509) 962-7639 <br />Fax (509) 962-7010 <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: March 3, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve a Resolution to Authorize Kittitas Valley Event <br />Center Facility Fee Waivers for the Ellensburg Rodeo Posse <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: KVEC has an interest in providing the facilities for the activities and <br />events produced by the Ellensburg Rodeo Posse as it holds a significant <br />benefit to the Kittitas County Fair, Ellensburg Rodeo, and Patriot Night <br />Under the Lights events as the Posse members are valuable volunteers <br />and advocates of these large events. <br /> <br />KVEC has also been the historic home to the Ellensburg Rodeo and the <br />Rodeo Posse for almost a century with the “Posse Barns” being located on <br />the grounds owned and operated by KVEC of Kittitas County.
