Ruby St., Suite 2, Ellensburg, WA 98926 <br />CDS@CO.KITTITAS.WA.US <br />Office (509) 962-7506 <br /> <br /> <br />“Building Partnerships – Building Communities” <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION <br />STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />BOCC AGENDA SESSION DATE: February 18, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: BOCC Signature of mylar granting final approval for the Palomino Fields Division <br />5 Plat (LPF-19-00004 & LP-07-00031) <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Palomino Fields Preliminary Plat was approved on November 18, 2008 <br />through Resolution No. 2008-160 (LP-07-00031). This proposal is for seven lots <br />on portions of 2 parcels (960976 and 960975). The subject property is currently <br />zoned Agriculture 5 and is located northwest of the City of Ellensburg outside of <br />the UGA in a portion of Section 27, T18N, R18E, WM, in Kittitas County. <br />Assessor’s Map Numbers: 18-18-27074-0104 and 18-18-27074-0103. The <br />preliminary plat is vested to the suburban zone which no longer exists in Kittitas <br />County and allows for these smaller lots. <br /> <br /> A final plat application was submitted by Chad Bala, agent for Cle Elum Pines East <br />& West LLC, on July 16, 2019 requesting final mylar approval for Palomino Fields <br />Div. 5. Due to necessary changes, the final mylars were returned and then <br />resubmitted on September 9, 2019 and then again on January 28, 2020. This plat <br />encompasses portions of parcel numbers 960976 and 960975 creating 7 lots. Staff <br />has reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and finds that it is <br />consistent with the preliminary approval documents. Additionally, final plat <br />review has been processed in conformance with Kittitas County Code Title 16. <br />The mylar has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all signatures have <br />been obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, <br />Public Health, and Assessor’s Office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the Palomino Fields <br />Div. 5 Plat (LPF-19-00004 and LP-07-00031). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for the Palomino Fields Div. 5 Plat (LPF-19-00004 and LP-07-00031). <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Jeremy Johnston, Community Development Services Planner
