KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: January 21, 2020 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approve and sign the 2020 Lodging Tax Services Agreements as awarded by Resolution No. 2020-002 <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Consolidated Lodging Tax work group met on November 15, 2019 in an open public meeting to deliberate and reach their final funding recommendation which was forwarded <br />to each legislative body for final approval. The Group recommended allocating $251,239.12 of Lodging Tax funds for special events and projects. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Kittitas County designated $154,136.00 to be available for grants as part of this process, Ellensburg designated $73,143.00 Cle Elum designated $23,189.00, and Roslyn designated <br />$774.00.
