KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: December 3, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge FFY17 (HSGP) Homeland Security <br />Grant Program #E20-168 <br />BACKGROUND: FFY17 HSGP is part of the ongoing Homeland Security Grants that are <br />managed through the Region 7 Interlocal Agreement. Due to a vendor issue, <br />product/equipment that was ordered in 2019 and intended to be paid for out of the original <br />grant (SH18-019 (E18-180)) was not received. Washington State Military Department is <br />extending the period end date to allow us to re -order through another vendor. <br />INTERACTION: The Region 7 Interlocal Agreement and the FFY17 HSGP grant were <br />reviewed and approved by the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge FFY17 (HSGP) Homeland Security <br />Grant Program #E20-168 <br />HANDLING: No handling. <br />LEAD STAFF: Commander Darren Higashiyama <br />
