KITTITAS COUNTY <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: November 19, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: To set a Public Hearing for December 17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. <br />to consider Adopting a Resolution Regarding Initiative <br />1639. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Staff was directed to prepare a Notice of Public Hearing to <br />consider public comments and to adopt a Resolution <br />regarding Initiative 1639. The proposed Resolution has <br />been drafted by the Prosecutors office. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office drafted a Resolution for the Board’s <br />consideration regarding Initiative 1639. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve setting a Public Hearing for Tuesday December <br />17, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium, <br />Room 109, Kittitas County Courthouse 205 West 5th <br />Avenue Ellensburg, WA and to authorize the Clerk to <br />publish said notice. <br /> <br />HANDLING: 1 - Clerk of the Board <br /> 1 - Prosecutors office <br /> 1 - Sheriff’s Office <br /> BOCC Staff to publish with Daily Record <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Notice of Public Hearing <br /> Draft Resolution Re: Initiative 1639 <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Julie Kjorsvik, Clerk of the Board on behalf of the Kittitas <br />County Commissioners. <br /> <br />
