RESOLUTION NO. {)/C -/u,/ <br />BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF KITTITAS COUNTY, STATE OF WASHINGTON, in the matter <br />of initiating a county road project designated as: <br />CRP NO: 299-19 JOB NO: RC1990-FP <br />' IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the VANTAGE HIGHWAY AT COLEMAN CREEK MP 3.87 -MP 4.27 <br />Vantage Highway provides a regionally significant east-west connection through the lower county, providing access to <br />recreation, ranching and farming areas, and growing residential areas. The current structure is a fish barrier and must be <br />removed to provide fish passage upstream. This project follows other fish barrier removal projects in the same <br />watershed. Kittitas County Public Works will replace the culvert carrying Coleman Creek under Vantage Highway with a <br />larger culvert or bridge structure to allow fish passage. <br />ARTERIAL [8J <br />ACCESS 0 <br />This project is hereby declared to be a public necessity and the Director of Public Works serving as the County Engineer is hereby <br />ordered and authorized to report and proceed thereon as by law provided .
