KITTITAS COUNTY <br />TREASURER'S OFFICE <br />STAFF REPORT <br />Agenda Date: November 5, 2019 <br />RE: Request approval of Cash Handling Policy and Credit Card Acceptance Policy <br />Background: The County Treasurer, as custodian of county funds, in <br />conjunction with the County Finance Committee, has <br />historically drafted financial policies for the county for <br />approval by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />Interaction: The Kittitas County Finance Committee has reviewed and <br />approved the attached Cash Handling and Credit Card <br />Acceptance policies for the County. The Committee is <br />forwarding these two policies to the Board of County <br />Commissioners for their consideration and approval. <br />Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends that the <br />Commissioners approve these policies. <br />Handling: 1 copy - Clerk of the Board <br />1 copy - Treasurer's Office <br />Attachments: Kittitas County Cash Handling Policy <br />Kittitas County Credit Card Acceptance Policy <br />Staff Report <br />Lead Staff: Amy Cziske, Treasurer <br />
