KITTITAS COUNTY <br />DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: November 5, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve the Resolution Authorizing the <br />replacement of the Vantage Highway Coleman <br />Creek culvert. <br />BACKGROUND: The Coleman Creek culvert at Vantage Highway <br />(MP 3.87- MP 4.27) is a barrier to fish passage. This <br />project follows other fish barrier removal projects <br />in the same watershed and is primarily funded by <br />the Washington State Department of Recreation <br />and Conservation. Public Works will replace the <br />existing culvert with a fish passage structure. <br />INTERACTION: Public Works <br />RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution Authorizing the <br />replacement of the Vantage Highway Coleman <br />Creek culvert. <br />HANDLING: Return two (1) originals to Public Works <br />ATTACHMENTS: Resolution; CRP No 299-19 <br />LEAD STAFF: Mark Cook, Director <br />
