BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019 --1.d:::::J <br />A WARDING GENERAL PLANNING AND ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR BOWERS <br />FIELD TO CENTURY WEST ENGINEERING AND AUTHORIZE THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS DIRECTOR TO SIGN SAID PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT <br />WHEREAS: Public Works solicited for qualified general planning and engineering firms <br />pursuant to state and federal procurement regulations soliciting for proposals for <br />three weeks in June, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS: Four (4) qualified general planning and engineering firms responded to the <br />request for qualifications with process closing on July 8, 2019; and <br />WHEREAS: A review committee of Kittitas County staff evaluated said responses and three <br />(3) interviews were conducted with Century West Engineering as the preferred <br />firm to provide said services; <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners, in the <br />best interest of the public, does hereby authorize the Public Works Director to negotiate a scope <br />of work and fee with Century West Engineering for general planning and engineering services <br />for Bowers Field and authorizes the signature of the Public Works Director on the required <br />professional services agreement. <br />DATED this 17th day of September, 2019, at Ellensburg, Washington. <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />KITTITAS COUNTY, WASHINGTON <br />~::Z:r;; <br />~ght, C hamna <br />- <br />Attest : <br />'l <br />falerk of the Board-Julie Kjorsvik <br />D Deputy Clerk of the Board-Mandy Buchholz <br />'
