KITTITAS COUNTY <br />Board of County Commissioners <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: August 20, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to sign Interlocal Agreement between the City of Ellensburg and Kittitas County for Interim Prosecution Services <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: Tony Swartz has resigned as the City’s Prosecutor, effective August 31, due to his new employment with CWU. Kittitas County will pick up the City’s prosecution duties starting <br />in September 1, 2019 – December 31, 2019. <br /> <br /> <br />INTERACTION: The Prosecutors office has reviewed and signed the proposed Interlocal.
