KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: 08/20/19 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Professional Services Agreement Fourth <br />Annual Renewal between Kittitas County and Government Payment Service, Inc. <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff's Office elects to renew for a one-year <br />period, to 4/1/20, the agreement originally effective on February 3, 2015 with <br />Government Payment Services, Inc. This vendor provides the capability for Kittitas <br />County Corrections Center to take online bail payments and for the Sheriffs Office to <br />take customer payments for services for which a fee is charged (e.g., CPLs and civil <br />papers). Card payments are automatically deposited into the bank account specified by <br />the County Treasurer. <br />INTERACTION: This professional services agreement was reviewed and approved by <br />the Kittitas County Prosecutor's Office. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve Professional Services Agreement Fourth <br />Annual Renewal between Kittitas County and Government Payment Service, Inc. <br />HANDLING: Please return one set of fully executed originals to Kittitas County <br />Sheriff s Office for us to send to the vendor. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
