The subject property is <br />currently zoned Agriculture 5 and is located northwest of the City of Ellensburg <br />outside of the UGA in a portion of Section 27, T18N, R18E, WM, in Kittitas <br />County. Assessor’s Map Numbers: 18-18-27020-0003, 18-18-27020-0015, 18-18- <br />27020-0016, and 18-18-27020-0017. The preliminary plat is vested to the suburban <br />zone which no longer exists in Kittitas County and allows for these smaller lots. <br />The original Palomino Fields Division 1 plat was recorded on August 15, 2017, <br />recording number 201708150016. In 2018 the plat was re-recorded to correct <br />scrivener errors with the original recorded plat, recording number 201808250042. <br /> <br /> A plat amendment application was submitted by Chad Bala, agent for Cle Elum <br />Pines East & West LLC, on December 4, 2018 to amend the existing Palomino <br />Fields Division 1 plat to dedicate the existing road easement to Kittitas County as a <br />public easement. No new lots were proposed through this plat amendment request. <br />On May 29, 2019, CDS staff approved the plat amendment and no appeals were <br />filed. <br /> <br />In order to complete the plat amendment process, the final plat mylar must be <br />approved. Staff has reviewed the final mylar with supporting documentation and <br />finds that it is consistent with the plat amendment approval documents. The mylar <br />has been reviewed by all reviewing departments, and all signatures have been <br />obtained. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: Board of Commissioners, Community Development Services, Public Works, <br />Public Health, and Assessor’s Office <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Signature of the Chair on the mylar for final plat approval of the 2nd Amendment to <br />Palomino Fields Plat Division 1 (LP-18-00004). <br /> <br />HANDLING: Return signed mylar to staff for transmittal to authorized agent for Treasurer <br />signature and recording. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS: Final mylar for the Palomino Fields Div. 2 Plat (LPF-19-00003 and LP-07-00031). <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Lindsey Ozbolt, Community Development Services Planning Official
