BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />COUNTY OF KITTITAS <br />STATE OF WASHINGTON <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2019-Og() <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT <br />BETWEEN KITTITAS COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WA STATE PARKS AND RECREATION <br />COMMISSION FOR BOATING SAFETY <br />WHEREAS, RCW 39.34, the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, provides the capability for <br />public agencies to cooperate by providing services and facilities for mutual advantage; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the purpose of this agreement is to establish a cooperative framework <br />between Washington State Parks and Kittitas County to enhance the performance of <br />boating safety and education services in the state per RCW 88.02650 and WAC 352- <br />65.010, and provide financial assistance for such services; and <br />WHEREAS, the term of this agreement is one year from the date of State Parks <br />signature; and <br />WHEREAS The County desires to provide the services and make use of the <br />financial support to do so, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that this <br />Agreement between Kittitas County Sheriff's Office and Washington State Parks and <br />Recreation Commission pursuant to the lnterlocal Cooperation Act, chapter 39.34 RCW <br />be adopted. <br />ADOPTED this 2-\ st day of vn . hf;~ 2019 . <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />\\I 1ll!lllll(lf/// ,,, MfS ,,,, ~,,,, vC:."!'. ...... ~10;//-:-/,,, <br />;::,'-~ .···· ··· .. ~ ~ "'~ • . .'(j) ~ tg ./ ___ \ \ <br />Kl'I ' ASH1NG'11ON <br />§' 1 SEAL i 2~ <br />;.
