Kittitas County <br />Solid Waste <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />5/21/2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request Boards approval for Chairs signature on the contract amendment with NRC Environmental <br />Services. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />NRC environmental has was awarded the bid for land application of the septage at the Ryegrass facility. <br />Due to unforeseen conditions it is requiring more effort to reach the necessary pH of the septage before it <br />can be land applied. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: <br />NRC, Prosecutor and Solid Waste. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Recommend Chairs signature on Amendment No. 1 with NRC. <br /> <br />HANDLING: <br /> <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: <br />Patti Johnson <br />
