<br /> <br />Public Notice <br />Kittitas County, Ellensburg WA <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The Board of Kittitas County Commissioners will meet at 2:00 pm on May 7, 2019 at the Commissioner's Auditorium, 205 West 5th Avenue, Room 109 to consider to consider amendments to Kittitas <br />County Code Title 9 and Title 20.  The amendments to Title 9 would authorize the Fire Marshal to approve firework ignition or discharge on days other than July 4th, December 31st and <br />January 1st, and would authorize the Fire Marshal to prohibit the ignition or discharge of fireworks in conjunction with an established burn ban.  The amendments to Title 20 would adopt <br />amendments to the International Wildland-Urban Interface Code (IWUIC) regarding technical assistance, exterior wall treatments, openings in soffits, eaves, and overhangs, and trees allowed <br />within required defensible space. The full text of the regulations will be mailed upon request. <br /> <br /> <br /> More information is online at http://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/notices/.
