KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF'S OFFICE <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA DATE: Tuesday, February 19, 2019 <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Acknowledge a Memorandum of Understanding <br />between the Kittitas County Sheriff Office and the City of Kittitas with regard to Field <br />Training. <br />BACKGROUND: This Memorandum of Understanding between Kittitas County <br />Sheriff s Office and the City of Kittitas with regards to Field Training. To provide to <br />Kittitas Police Department the services of Field Training Officer/series of Field Training <br />Officers for the various phases of the field training program who already serve in that <br />role for KCSO, and who will perform in the same manner and to the same standards as <br />expected when serving in that role for KCSO. <br />INTERACTION: The Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has reviewed and <br />approved. <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Acknowledge a Memorandum of Understanding <br />between the Kittitas County Sheriff s Office and the City of Kittitas with regard to Field <br />Training. <br />HANDLING: Return both originals to the Sheriffs Office to obtain signatures from <br />City of Kittitas. KCSO to return one fully executed original to BOCC. <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff <br />
