KITTITAS COUNTY <br />SHERIFF’S OFFICE <br /> <br />AGENDA STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: February 5, 2019 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: Request to Approve Interagency Agreement between Kittitas <br />County Sheriff’s Office and Washington Traffic Safety Commission. <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: The Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office has worked with the Washington <br />Traffic Safety Commission in the past. The purpose of this Agreement is to provide <br />overtime funding for high visibility enforcement (HVE), traffic safety emphasis patrols <br />and related activities as outlined in Exhibit A, in support of Target Zero priorities. <br /> <br />INTERACTION: This interagency agreement was reviewed and approved by the <br />Kittitas County Prosecutor’s Office. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION: Request to Approve Interagency Agreement between Kittitas <br />County Sheriff’s Office and Washington Traffic Safety Commission. <br /> <br />HANDLING: No handling <br /> <br />LEAD STAFF: Command Staff
