Kittitas County <br />Human Resources <br /> <br />Agenda Staff Report <br /> <br />AGENDA DATE: <br />12/18/2018 <br /> <br />ACTION REQUESTED: <br />Request to Approve a Resolution in the Matter of Reviewing Wages and/or Benefits for Employees <br /> <br />BACKGROUND: <br />Often Collective Bargaining Agreements are not settled prior to the beginning of the year, nor are final <br />decisions made regarding all non-bargained compensation structures. <br /> <br />This Resolution allows the Board of County Commissioners the flexibility, at their discretion, to consider <br />and enact compensation issues that are still in progress as of 12/31/18 retroactively to January 1, as a form <br />of deferred compensation.
